Comments:
As a person, a Quaker and an artist, I have been strongly influenced by the image of Rachel Corrie, a young U.S. peace activist, being deliberately bulldozed to death by an Israeli man driving a tractor. Caterpillar Corporation shareholders have a responsibility to be clear about whether or not they want to support the use of their products to kill and destroy. I live too far from you to attend your vigil, though I am with you in spirit today.

As am I.

Rest in Peace, Rachel Corrie.

Perhaps one day they will have killed enough of your kind, of the people who will give their life for their dream, to understand what it means to make peace.

I pray to whatever powers an agnostic would pray to that this day comes soon, and before all heroes are murdered.
