Protest for Rachel Corrie at Milton-CAT, Milford, MA :: Saturday 10:30 AM, March 17, 2007
On March 16, 2003, Rachel Corrie, an American peace activist, was killed by a Caterpillar bulldozer while protecting a Palestinian house from demolition.
On Saturday, March 17, 2007, Boston-area activists will travel to the headquarters of the largest CAT dealership in the Northeast, Milton-CAT in Milford, Massachusetts. They will hold a peaceful protest outside its gates, demanding that the Caterpillar Corporation live up to its Worldwide Code of Business Conduct and stop selling Israel bulldozers that it uses to destroy homes and lives. Similar protests will take place across the US and internationally to mark the fourth anniversary of Rachel Corrieās death.
